Announcing the 2025–27 Robey Artist: Violinist Nathan Amaral!

We’re thrilled to welcome the brilliant violinist Nathan Amaral as our 2025–27 Robey Artist, in partnership with the Young Classical Artists Trust.

Each year, the Robey Artist takes on a special ambassadorial role with Music Masters, visiting our Flagship Schools to meet the children, give a performance and lead a series of inspiring workshops to engage, educate, and uplift the next generation of young musicians. We're excited for Nathan’s first visits this November! As Robey Artist, Nathan will play a vital role in our mission to provide inspirational role models for young musicians from backgrounds currently under-represented in classical music—helping to shape a more inclusive and vibrant future for music.

About Nathan

Through his playing, Nathan has earned a reputation in South America, USA and Europe for being a "versatile, charismatic violinist with a natural musical understanding" (Liza Ferschtman). First Prize winner of the 27th Sphinx Competition Classic FM ‘Rising Star’ 2024, Nathan frequently performs across the globe as both a soloist and chamber musician, while also continuing to support and teach young musicians from difficult backgrounds in his native Brazil through his own festival ‘Week of Musical Integration’ (Festival SIM).

“...One of the rare musicians who not only possesses the gift of ample technical ability but uses it to transcend technique, getting to the heart and soul of musical expression… he draws his audiences in with a great range of colour and emotion...” - Yo-Yo Ma
