Dr Kadiatu Kanneh-Mason

Dr Kadiatu Kanneh-Mason is a Nottingham-based former English lecturer at the University of Birmingham. She recently authored "House of Music: Raising the Kanneh-Masons", a memoir about her family. Kadiatu has seven children, all of whom are classical musicians, and the family has been the subject of several documentaries. She currently serves on the boards of ESTA String Teachers Association, The Nottingham Education Trust, and Real Talk TV. Her public engagement focuses on diversity in classical music, music education, issues of race and inclusion, literature and parenting.
