Colin Lawson serves as Director of the Royal College of Music and maintains an international reputation as a period clarinettist with an extensive discography. His scholarly contributions include publications on historical performance through Cambridge University Press, and he co-edited The Cambridge Encyclopedia of Historical Performance in Music (2018) with Robin Stowell.
