Alasdair Tait

Scottish cellist Alasdair Tait brings extensive experience as a performer and educator. He has performed in many of the world's major concert halls and serves as a chamber music coach. His academic background includes senior teaching positions at GSMD, RNCM, and Madrid's Reina Sofia. His honours include ABO Artist Manager of the Year (2016), RNCM Fellowship (2016), and Westminster Abbey Institute Fellowship. As cellist of the Belcea Quartet until 2006, he won a Gramophone Award and Diapason d'Or. He serves as trustee for Britten Pears Arts, Countess of Munster Trust, and Ann Driver Trust.
