Aaron Dworkin

Aaron P. Dworkin is a distinguished arts leader recognized as a 2005 MacArthur Fellow. He served as President Obama's initial appointee to the National Council on the Arts and was later appointed by Governor Snyder to Michigan's Council for Arts & Cultural Affairs. As dean at the University of Michigan's School of Music, Theatre & Dance, Dworkin played a pivotal role in Michigan's arts education landscape. He co-chaired the state's Arts and Cultural Education Task Force and designed the required arts curriculum for Michigan schools.
